Like the previous posts, we were assured that we could have a site on a wider stretch of road. This was in March, and we paid in full! Lo and behold, we got the site next to the impossible site we had last year! Had to remove fencing etc. too bad we didn't have a chain saw. Nice place, but don't waste your time with Linkspot and its internet service or lack of! $30.00 a week and it doesn't work! Guess what, they won't refund your money either. Bring an AIRCARD. Still, all in all, the campground is nice, and has a lot of activities for little ones.

Family style campground, starting to get a little dated. If you have a large rig, make sure you let them know. This campground was designed a long time a go, so the access roads and sites are tight. All the nice things to do in the area make this campground a nice vacation. Don't forget to take a sunset cruise on the whale dolphin watcher boat, beautiful sunsets off the cape of new jersey.

Well managed and run state park that we have been going to for years, just keeps getting better. The roads are paved in the loops, so dust is no longer a problem, that walk to the beach area can be long if your in the far end of the campground, but you can drive (parking lot) or bike right to the beach. The park is clean, clean, clean, and the natural beauty of the area is just awesome! Plenty of trails and there are nature activities for the kids.

We stay here on our trips to Myrtle Beach for a overnighter. This is one of the best campgrounds to access from Rt.95,less than 1/2 mile off the hwy, quick check in and the pull through sites are large and easy to get into. The bathrooms are spotless, the hosts are a terrific and caring couple. On our overnight stay a severe thunderstorm came through the area, a lightning bolt struck a tree near our RV and blew out some electrical items in the camper. Tony, host and owner, was so helpful with tools, wire, and assistance, to get us back in service, so we could continue our trip, even though he and his wife had lots of damage from the storm themselves.Lest I forget, camper, the campground dog, will be a hit with the kids. Carolina outlets are nearby.

Camp Taylor could be a "10" if they had a pool for recreation, if the store had basics like bread, milk, newspapers, and a laundry room. The campground is beautiful however, the walking trails and the wolf preserve are awesome, so peaceful! Follow the campground's driving directions to the letter, unless you like braving a 20 degree road incline!

Nice, extremely clean smaller park located 2 miles from town center. Really enjoyed it, they had a mind reader for entertainment on a weekend night. Real friendly staff, generous sized sites.

Real nice, clean park located about 3 miles from the center of town. Owners seem to be very caring people, eager to keep campers happy. Many wooded sites and some out in the open as well, campground is on the smaller size, maybe that's why you don't even see a cigarette butt on the ground. On Sat. night they had a mind reader for entertainment, a lot of fun!
